I think this game had a great setup, and charm to it going into it. It looks great too. But once the "meat" of the game gets going it's mostly climbing the same tower.

This is where the game falls short I think. I would have loved more story segments like there was in the beginning. It was a nice feeling of discovery and story being told. But once you get to the tower, it's just the same thing for too long. The tower was fun for a while but once you sort of "get it", it gets a bit boring doing the same thing.

The gameplay and game-feel is pretty nice for being a smaller scale platformer. Interesting direction going with the back-and-forth wall jump. It made for good puzzle solving. I thought the ball+bark button combo to be a bit tricky to get used to. Perhaps it would have been better to keep the down button being drop/pickup rather than introducing another button (s)?

I found the ball-trench thing to be a bit frustrating. Not because it made me back-track. But because I was eager to see if there was more story to be found in the tower. Once I realized this game was going to be mostly platforming from this point forward, I did start feeling a bit disappointed.

It's a decent game though and I think you guys did a great job. Looks great, plays great. It just needed more variety.

Decent DDR game. I'm not particularly good at these type of games although I do enjoy them. This one I feel is too hard right out of the box and isn't really for beginners I'd say. So I couldn't really enjoy it through-out very much. That said tho, it seems quite well made.

One other thing, fade away the background music when playing the songs from the playlist. Right now you'll get two songs playing on top of another.

Hah! I love how much attention to detail there are in each choice!
I keep thinking "now I've must have done it correctly", and yet, you catch me every single time.

Great job on a short point and click adventure. Although, I can clearly see what other game this is inspired by :)

One thing I think you could have done better is to have the descriptive text above the mouse as you point on the object. That way the user won't have to look over to the corners as much. Either that, or have the text under the timer. Otherwise you'll dart around left and right too much.

Thanks for the feedback! I actually originally tried attaching the text box to the mouse and it was really distracting so I put it at the top. Curious what you think this game was inspired by (I was thinking of "Don't shit your pants" when I made it)

Visually and conceptually this game is lovely. It's polished like crazy and has a lot of juicy game-feel things.

The reason I'm still not giving this a full on 5 score is because I find the gameplay to be really monotonous. There isn't much that breaks up the gameplay patterns in this game, except for the leveling up which still doesn't change up the experience all that much.

You jump, mash one button, move away, repeat. It'd be great if you could pick up stuff, throw it at the bosses. Perhaps even parry bullets or something. I understand you guys wanted a very pure experience, with one action button doing everything. It's just that the gameplay around it is as simple as the inputs.

Gameplay aside, it's still like I said a really well made game that looks and feels great. It just didn't keep my attention.
