I think this is a cool idea, it's just dressed wrong (in my opinion).

This comes across to me as a puzzle game, but the game is using platforming design and a decimal precise game design. Which I feel works better for combat games or precision platformers.

I think the design of this game would have worked much better being gridbased. Each move is one energy, one grid movement. Rather than having it be a stamina type game. The reason I find this to be an issue is because, if I mess up with 10% stamina and I solved the puzzle, I feel like the game cheated me.

This could be solved by freezing the stamina when clearing the puzzle. But I still feel that gives too much room for errors. I can imagine a lot of players feeling frustrated by this design choice.

That said, I feel the game is pretty solid and you put a lot of effort and care into it. I understand the direction, but I feel a sort of disconnect with the intent and the way I experience the game.

Please keep making cool stuff. Rootin' for ya.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks for making a fun art tool!
It did crash like twice on me, but it was a fun little app to play around with. Surprisingly responsive considering how aggressive the shader is!

Here's mine (if I can post links???)

This is so charming I love the energy in this. I had great fun playing this game. Good job!

I like the visual effect in this. It's really impactful and a nice mix of styles. A simple game, but it achieves what it sets out to do!

I get a liiittle motion sick when the camera returns to origo on button release. I would have preferred it turning depending on where you are in the room and not reset. I think the player would feel more in control and it'd make the game feel more accessible from a visual perspective (resulting in more people playing longer!).

And I wanna say, I think I've seen a couple of you collaborating before - especially Stepford. It's really great that you keep pushing out small games like this, it's going to strengthen your skills greatly and if you decide on pursuing game development as a career (if you aren't already), it will be well worth it. Great work on the grind, just don't over work yourself!

Cheers!

This has so much charm and gives me nostalgia for those old school educational games and strange top down games on the snes, in a good way. The sounds, animation, aesthetic and designs really vibe well with type of thing.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! <3

I really like the CRT filter (real bias there to lol) and a lovely small scope take on Binding of Isaac. But because it feels like such a take on it, it feels weird that you can't shoot up or down. Especially since it's a top down game. I'd be more ok with the restriction if the game was side scrolling.

Great game feel and attention to detail in this game. It feels polished and I enjoyed it!

So simple and fun!

I really like the asthethic of this game. Would love to see more story aspects like you had in the start with this type of approach! Good job on this game dood!

That I didn't realize it was a joke accent says a lot about my Italian
