Gosh man I've really been digging deep into your work as of late. You've got great identity to your work. Everything from shape design to your line quality has character to it. You're one of those artists that I follow that gets me excited to draw when I check out the work.

Curious what you made the bg in?
Really into this type of multimedia workflow myself, would love to try this out!
edit: lol!! i just found the stockfootage. i figure it's the footage + an find-edges filter on top with offsets.
Really neat, like all your stuff!
There's something odd going on with the light in this, though. I've been sitting here trying to figure out what it was. Initially I thought it was the shadow family being around the same strength as the light family causing a clash, and that it needed a core shadow to separate the stark hue shifts. But I think the real problem for me is the green hue shifts in the light family, I think I read it as specular light. Since that "specular" is around the same light intensity as the shadow family, it probably causes this disconnect.
You play around a lot with rendering so I figured you might appreciate a more technical comment. You work is dope, dude.
the lighting in this doesn't make sense and isn't supposed to, i hoped that was obvious by the sun being behind them despite them appearing lit from the opposite side!
